Tom Stelzl
Pastor
I started at Montague in January of 2023. This is my second appointment and I am excited to see what new chapters and milestones we will reach together in my time here. The open-mindedness of this congregation impresses me and inspires me to dig deeper into our faith and discover where God is calling us to go.
Currently, I am working on my Master’s in Divinity at Drew Theological Seminary in New Jersey. I have a passion for language, understanding how the Bible speaks across time and generations, helping people see their intrinsic worth and guiding them to apply it in helpful places, and making sure church works the way God intends for it to work.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me playing with my Golden Retriever, Jed, hanging out with my friends, hiking, boating, or driving my grandfather’s 1965 Mercury Comet on a back road. I hope we can connect soon!
